Things to do in the Twin Cities this Weekend

1. Aquatennial Festival – Saturday July 22nd
Head done to the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis for the Aquatennial Festival. This is definitely one of the most talked about events of the summer if you live in Minnesota. This is a great event for the family with lots of different vendors and food trucks and of course of the Fireworks!

2. St Paul Food Truck Festival – Saturday July 22nd
Free event featuring 60+ food trucks, live music & beer!
The 7th annual St. Paul Food Truck Festival is back at Union Depot in Lowertown St. Paul Saturday, July 22nd.
With hours from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m you’ll be able to sample food truck delicacies all day long.
More than 60, YES 60 food trucks will be selling their unique street eats with global cuisines ranging from Maine lobster rolls to birria tacos, New Zealand meat pies & even deep fried ice cream! Food trucks will be sprinkled about Union Depot’s LOT C.
In addition to the de-lish food trucks, the festival will include unique experiences on 4 wheels: fashion/clothing trucks, vintage record truck, photo booth truck and something just for our four-legged attendants!

3. Art on the Edge Festival – Saturday July 22nd
Art on the Edge” is a festival where art and metaphysical meet, featuring over 60 vendors including painters, potters and yogis on West 43rd Street. Hosted by Everett & Charlie and The Edge Magazine, it aims to be a magical event for all.

4. The Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Dinner Show – Saturday July 22nd
America’s largest interactive comedy murder mystery dinner theatre show is now playing! Solve a hilarious mystery while you feast on a fantastic dinner. Just beware! The culprit is hiding in plain sight somewhere in the room, and you may find yourself as a Prime Suspect before you know it!

5. Shoreview Days – Friday through Sunday
Slice Of Shoreview is an annual festival held to celebrate life in Shoreview, Minnesota.
It takes place over the last weekend of July and its program includes a wide variety of family-friendly activities including a carnival, a parade, an arts and crafts fair, delicious food vendors, as well as various displays and of course an amazing fireworks show.

6. The Puttery
Now open in Minneapolis for mini golf, craft cocktails and good eats! This adult only mini golf venue features three themed nine hole courses, bars and lounge areas to enjoy food and drinks!

7. Minnesota Alpine Slide
Sail down Eagle Mountain at Lutsen Mountains on an Alpine Slide! This half mile adventure track is packed with fun.

8. Vista Fleet – Duluth, MN
Cruise under the lift bridge and by the lighthouses in Duluth, MN. On sightseeing cruises, you’ll glide by Duluth Harbor attractions including lighthouses, ships, and the skyline. You’ll also learn local insights from your tour guide!

9. Minneapolis Sculpture Garden
Check out the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden for a free browsing experience of Minnesotas most well known sculptures. This is a great option for kids and to enjoy the Minnesota summer weather!

10. River Tubing on Root River
No matter who’s in your crew or what’s in your cooler, Minnesota’s scenic riverways are your ticket to the perfect summer getaway. Pack a cooler of sandwiches and snacks for the kids and spend the day reconnecting with nature as a family. Or float and sip your way down a lazy river with your best buds. The Root River, running right through town, creates all kinds of ways to play—tubing, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing.
