With more than 277,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor training space the Vikings spend a lot of time here in Eagan getting ready for the next season. The training center can also hold about 6,500 fans who love to show up for practice games and training to support their team.

Eagan has the typical employment opportunities that come with a mid-size city. Service sector jobs are plentiful. Housing And Schools
If you have kids and you’re looking for an area that has great schools Eagan schools score a B- overall but get an A+ in diversity, which is just as important as academics. If you want your kids to have a well-rounded education that includes a diverse education and the opportunity to make friends from all walks of life then Eagan is a great choice.
Because of everything that Eagan has to offer the home prices here are a bit higher than you might pay in other areas. A decent sized family starter home will generally cost between $250,000 and $300,000. A lot of the neighborhoods were built in the 80s and 90s so the lower priced homes are generally one story ranchers in established neighborhoods. You may also find some split-level homes. If you want a two story home or a more updated home with modern finishes and layouts there are new construction options. The Stonebridge Pond neighborhood is one of the best new construction neighborhoods with completely custom built homes. Because these homes are all custom they typically start around $650k and go up from there but you can customize almost every detail for your taste and your lifestyle so most homebuyers think that’s worth paying extra for. Eagan is a fantastic city for those who want the ease and convenience of a suburb and the culture, shopping, and other amenities that a mid-size city offers. There are lots of custom home opportunities if you want to choose all the details of your home. But if you’re a first-time buyer or you’re looking for a good family home in a less expensive area there are options for you as well.
