On the west side of Andover is Round Lake and Kelsey Lake Park which has beach access, paved trails for biking or roller blading, and walking trails too. The area also has Coon Rapids on the south side and Bunker Lake.
Bunker Hills Park has one of the oldest Oak Savannahs which is one of the few remaining in Minnesota. You can horseback ride through the entire park or play disc gold on the course there. Grab a drink in the clubhouse, it’s really nice. You can also hike or bike on 10 miles of trails at Bunker Beach.

Andover is in the Anoka-Hennepin School District, usually referred to as AH11. Andover schools have an A- rating for academics and a B- for diversity. Public schools in Andover are Andover Elementary, Oakview Middle School, and Andover High School. Andover Elementary is ranked as the second best public elementary school in the county. Other school options include Pack Charter Schools and DaVinci Academy.
